Walking Cone

The following formation of Walking Cone is active from 2010. In these three years, the group has produced a variety of covers (mostly of the british psychedelic group “Pink Floyd”). Walking Cone has taken part in gigs all around Mantua, north of Italy and France creating a vast and complete curriculum. The most important events are:

-Notte Rosa 2012 (Pink Night, a famous week-end of parties on the Adriatic coast);

-Notte Bianca 2012 (White Night, a famous all-night-long party in Mantua, where in each square there’s a different band playing. During this event Walking Cone played in Piazza Mantegna, one of the most important squares of Mantua, right in front of “Sant’Andrea’s church”);

At the very beginning of the year 2013, Walking Cone reduced drastically the number of live performances due to the will of the group to start working on a self-produced album (thanks to the help of Filippo Lui, co-producer).
The first EP “Snakeskin” was released during the “Festival della Gondola d’Oro” live in Venice 2013. Walking Cone also played on some important stages:

-Notte Bianca 2013 (White Night, in the most important square: “Piazza delle Poste”);

-Gusto Club Mantova;

The group participated in a european concert called “Scène Coeur d’Europe” in Charleville-Mézières ( France ). Here they proposed their project and met musicians coming from all Europe.

Walking Cone based their new album production on 60′, 70′, 80′ Rock music also following the footprints of the greatest artists of history. Rock contaminated by progressive, psychedelic and ethnic music, are the colors that are painting their album that will be released in 2014.

La seguente formazione è attiva dal 2010. In questi tre anni, il gruppo ha prodotto una serie di cover ( principalmente del gruppo psichedelico inglese “Pink Floyd” ). I Walking Cone hanno partecipato a concerti in tutta Mantova, nord Italia e in giro per l’Europa, creando un vasto e completo curriculum. Gli eventi più importanti sono :

– Notte Rosa 2012 (un famoso week-end di feste sulla costa adriatica) ;

– Notte Bianca 2012 (una serata interamente dedicata alla musica a Mantova. Durante questo evento i Walking Cone hanno proposto la loro musica in Piazza Mantegna, una delle più importanti piazze di Mantova);

All’inizio del 2013, i Walking Cone hanno ridotto drasticamente il numero di esibizioni dal vivo per iniziare a lavorare all’album auto prodotto (grazie all’aiuto del maestro Filippo Lui, produttore artistico).
Il primo EP ” Snakeskin ” è stato rilasciato durante il ” Festival della Gondola d’Oro ” a Venezia.

La band ha inoltre suonato su alcuni palchi importanti:

– Notte Bianca 2013 (in ” Piazza delle Poste “);

– Gusto Club Mantova;

Il gruppo ha anche partecipato ad un concerto europeo chiamato ” Scène Coeur d’Europe ” a Charleville- Mézières nel quale si è confrontata con band provenienti da tutta Europa, presentando il proprio progetto.

I Walking Cone basano il loro nuovo album sulle sonorità caratteristiche degli anni ’60, ’70 e ‘80 seguendo le orme dei più grandi artisti della storia. Rock, contaminato da progressive, psichedelica e musiche etniche sono i colori che dipingeranno il loro primo album la cui uscita è programmata per il 2014.
